Person Specifications and Job Descriptions are provided for all staff working on contracts;
We implement a reward system, which further ensures commitment and buy-in of the staff working on contracts;
We also provide TUPE support, advice and transference;
SMC Managers will audit your project on a weekly basis at a time to suit you;
We provide 24 hour, 7 days a week contract support;
We provide complete site specific method statements for each of our operatives;
Daily performance schedules are provided for both Supervisors and Operatives;
Comprehensive Risk Assessments are provided for all cleaning tasks;
Chemical safety information is provided;
Full COSHH Assessment/s are undertaken as and where appropriate;
A member of our Senior Management team is NEBOSH Certified and they ensure that all staff employed on a project are trained to operate within the terms of the project and the current Health and Safety Legislation. All our senior staff and mobile supervisors are also trained in risk assessment procedures and COSHH legislation. Furthermore our rigorous induction training courses for operatives provides a comprehensive verbal and practical demonstration of Health & Safety requirements. We employ a Senior Quality Control Manager, who is responsible for the systematic checking of all our sites. He is also charged with ensuring all published work methods and procedures are implemented, sustained and monitored, delegating responsibility to nominated line Managers as appropriate. He reports directly to our Managing Director with copy reports to the Senior Management Team and Local Area Managers.
We have stringent selection processes in place, which ensure that all company operatives are bona fide and legitimately employable. All our operatives wear the SMC Premier Cleaning branded work wear, with company I.D. and are fully trained and very experienced. Our staff realise that it is their sole responsibility to provide a first-class cleaning service that is seamless and meticulously undertaken.
Our pricing not only includes the cost of labour but all the added extras which are often over looked, such as chemicals, training, PPE equipment, safety equipment, documentation, management and a robust auditing system.
SMC Premier Cleaning is a member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) and we are genuinely committed to adhering to the Institute’s Standards & Codes of Practice that are widely accepted throughout the cleaning industry. Our policy is to ensure that all of our cleaning operatives are trained to NVQ Level 1 in cleaning science. This means that we can offer a guaranteed level of knowledge and competence in our operatives. In order to ensure that we provide to our clients a streamlined and efficiently managed service we are ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management & ISO 14001 Environmentally Accredited whilst also holding Investors In People Certification (IIP).
